In winter, enjoy the benefits of an optimal location in the midst of the ski area. The Zauchtalerhof lies right on the slopes of the Altenmarkt- Radstadt ski area. Zauchensee (see photo above) is easy to reach with the ski shuttle. The legendary "Tauern Trail" - setting for the famous annual "Tauern Run" - is only 900 meters away.

And then there's winter riding - always a memorable experience. Head out along the winter hiking paths and enjoy our magnificent panoramas, or take a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride as you explore the countryside!

Enjoy your holiday with the state-of-the-art lifts of the Ski Amadé, glorious sun-drenched slopes, sun-skiing in springtime and warm, friendly huts when it's time for a refreshment break. At the base station of the Altenmarkt lifts, you will find a practice lift for beginners and a ski kindergarten for the youngsters.
